- 24 cups of water
- 4 large carrots peeled and cut into pieces
- 2 medium onion peeled and cut into pieces
- 2 garlic clove crushed
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 0.5 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper
- 0.5 cup cilantro
- 2 celery stick
- 3 units of sweet peppers
- Lime to serve
- vegetable oil

- Place the chicken pieces in a big container filled with cold water and soak them for a while to in order to wash and remove the blood and dirt.
- Take the chicken parts out of the cold water and throw away the water.
- In a big pot, fry the diced onions and crushed garlic for around five minutes with the oil.
- After that, toss in the garlic porridge, carrots, celery, chives, crushed peppers, and salt.
- Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Combine the chicken and pepper in a pot; add hot water and continue to cook in the same pot. Bring to a boil, scraping any foam that rises to the surface.
- Reduce to a low heat setting and stir in the other ingredients. Cover and cook for about 2 hours, or experiment to discover what works best.
- Remove the chicken parts that you want to eat from the pan and set them aside.
- Strain the soup through a fine strainer and add the chicken portions you want to consume back to the broth.
